How an engagement works
A clear pathway to measurable AI impact.
Every engagement follows the same logic: assess where you are, align the right approach to the right problems, and accelerate to measurable impact. The specific services emerge from the diagnostic and not the other way around.

Common questions
Things people usually ask us first
How long does an AI readiness diagnostic take?
A typical AI readiness diagnostic takes two to four weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the business. The output is a clear, deliverable-led report with prioritised recommendations.
Where does an engagement with Futureformed typically start?
Almost every engagement begins with a diagnostic. This gives us all parties an honest, evidence-based picture of your current AI position before any strategy or deployment work begins.
Do you work with organisations outside the UK?
Yes. While Futureformed is based in London, we work with organisations internationally. Most advisory work is conducted remotely, with on-site presence arranged when the engagement requires it.
How is working with Futureformed different from a large consultancy?
You work with senior practitioners throughout - not handed off to junior staff or AI agents with minimal senior oversight. Our fees reflect the value delivered, without the overhead of a large firm's brand, process, and management layers.
What industries does Futureformed work with?
Our deepest experience is in financial services, creative industries, sustainability, and music. However, the challenges of AI adoption - strategy, change management, governance - are consistent across sectors, and we advise broadly.
Do you offer one-off advice or only ongoing engagements?
Both. Diagnostics are standalone deliverables with a clear scope and output. Advisory retainers and transformation sprints are ongoing. We scope whatever level of support makes sense for where your organisation is right now.
Not sure where to start?
Start with a conversation. We’ll listen, diagnose, and point you in the right direction.
