Global Financial Services

Embedding AI strategy into a global financial services transformation

AI StrategyChange ManagementProgramme Management

The challenge

A mid-sized global financial services firm wanted to strengthen their project and programme management capability — and, in parallel, get a clearer, more honest picture of where AI could genuinely add value across the business. Existing AI deployments had grown organically and without strategic direction.

What we did

We conducted interviews across the business to understand attitudes, appetite, and current usage. Undertook structured use case mapping and a review of the tools already in play. In addition, we worked with the team to build a new project management way of working that aligned with the AI strategy.

The outcome

A two-year AI strategy with clear, prioritised recommendations and and an AI council, drawn from across the business, to ensure that a broad range of voices shape how AI develops further. The result is a business better positioned to run projects smoothly, create value for clients, and approach AI with both confidence and rigour.

Purpose-Led Energy

Turning data complexity into competitive advantage for a fast-growing energy business

AI ImplementationData StrategyOperational Improvement

The challenge

A UK-based purpose-led energy company had grown rapidly, and the speed of that growth had surfaced a tangle of process and technology challenges. Large volumes of customer data were being managed inconsistently, creating operational drag and distracting from growing the business & improving the customer experience.

What we did

Working closely with the leadership team and IT vendors, we applied AI to data cleansing and the integration of disparate data sources. We also introduced tooling to help staff research more effectively and draft client communications with significantly greater accuracy.

The outcome

A more connected, reliable data environment — and a team spending less time fixing issues and more time on growth. Staff gained practical tools and skills, allowing the business to use its data as a genuine asset.

Creative & Production

Cutting through the AI noise for a London production company

Responsible AIGovernance & PolicyProcess Design

The challenge

A small media production company was struggling to manage client assets efficiently, handle new client onboarding, and maintain a clear process for business development. They came to us expecting an AI-led solution — but the real challenge turned out to be more fundamental.

What we did

By spending time with the founders mapping how the business actually worked - technically & operationally - it became clear that wholesale AI deployment wasn't the right answer. The work was more targeted: introducing the right tools, hands-on training for the founders, clearer governance & policies, and defining information flow between the company and its clients.

The outcome

A business that is confident using technology without over-engineering the solution. This engagement is a good example of something we believe strongly: that AI is not always the answer, and that being honest about that is part of what good advisory looks like.
